Seller Onboarding Agreement

Section 1: Purpose

This agreement governs a seller's participation on the platform.

By creating a seller account, listing goods, or completing a transaction, the seller agrees to be bound by this agreement and all Platform Policies.

Section 2: Eligibility & Admission

The seller confirms they are a legitimate business or individual authorised to sell the listed goods.

The seller confirms they have the legal right to sell the goods and will provide accurate business, contact, and banking details.

The seller will maintain an active email address and phone number.

Section 3: Seller Obligations

List only goods physically held by the seller.

Accurately describe goods per Listing Standards and disclose all material defects conservatively.

Upload only current representative photographs.

Comply with all applicable laws.

Respond promptly to communications and cooperate with dispute resolution in good faith.

Section 4: Prohibited Conduct

Must not misrepresent goods or make structural, grading, or certification claims.

Must not use prohibited language (including "sold as is" and "no refunds").

Must not attempt to resolve disputes outside the platform or encourage buyers to bypass platform payments.

Must not misuse dispute mechanisms.

Section 5: Payments & Fees

Buyer payments are collected by the platform and funds may be held in escrow.

Seller payouts are subject to the Payments, Escrow & Fees Policy.

A 6.5% transaction fee is deducted from seller payouts.

Payouts may be reduced to recover refunds, return freight, or seller-at-fault costs.

The seller is responsible for all applicable taxes.

Section 6: Returns, Disputes & Freight

Returns are governed by the Seller Returns & Remedies Policy.

Buyer disputes are assessed against published listings and evidence.

Freight is governed by third-party carrier terms.

Return freight may be funded by the platform and recovered from seller payouts.

Section 7: Platform Role & Limitations

The platform is a marketplace facilitator only and does not inspect or certify goods.

The platform does not provide freight or insurance.

The platform determines dispute outcomes per platform policies. Platform decisions are final.

Section 8: Suspension & Termination

The platform may suspend or terminate a seller account for breaching this agreement, repeatedly misrepresenting listings, failing to cooperate with disputes, or undermining marketplace trust.

Termination does not affect outstanding obligations.

Section 9: Updates to Policies

Policies may be updated from time to time.

Updates apply prospectively and continued use constitutes acceptance.

Section 11: Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Section 12: Acceptance

By creating a seller account or listing goods, the seller confirms they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this agreement and all Platform Policies.
