NODUS

About Nodus

Recovering value from timber that deserves a second chance.

What we do

Nodus is a B2B marketplace for surplus, downfall, overrun, and off-spec timber products. We connect timber mills and suppliers with manufacturers, builders, furniture makers, and trades who can put that stock to use, once they understand how suitable the listed product is.

Every mill produces material that doesn't fit a specific order — short ends, colour variations, cosmetic defects, specification changes, cancelled runs. Historically this stock is too hard for distribution networks to sell because it doesn't meet typical expectations and declared issues can vary too much to be adequately explained.

Nodus gives sellers a platform to list that stock with honest, detailed disclosure, and gives buyers a way to find it — with the confidence that listings have been reviewed, payments are protected, and disputes are handled fairly.

How we're different

Reviewed listings

Every listing is reviewed against our Seller Listing Standards before publication. Sellers must disclose defects conservatively and completely — silence on a defect is treated as a representation that it doesn't exist.

Escrow protection

Buyer payments are held by the platform until the dispute window closes. Sellers are paid only after the buyer has had the opportunity to inspect the goods.

Integrated freight

Delivery quotes are generated instantly at checkout through our carrier network. Sellers dispatch with a printed shipping label. Tracking is built in.

Fair dispute resolution

Disputes are assessed against the published listing and evidence. Not opinions, not negotiations — published facts. The platform determines outcomes in accordance with its policies.

Based in Victoria, Australia

Nodus operates under the laws of Victoria, Australia. Our platform, policies, and dispute resolution processes are governed by Victorian law.
